CHC'S NEW UNIX-BASED RADSTAT(TM) SYSTEM DEMONSTRATING SUCCESS WITH RAPID MARKET ACCEPTANCE

 HOUSTON, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Health Computing Corp. (NASDAQ: CHCC) has announced that during the 3rd Quarter of this year it signed new contracts for the company's UNIX(R)-based RadStat system. These contracts bring the total number of sites licensed on the new radiology system to 18, demonstrating the rapid market acceptance of the product since its introduction.
 The hospitals that have signed 3rd Quarter contracts with CHC for the RadStat system include:
 Memorial Hospital and Medical Center, a 272-bed acute care facility in Midland, Texas; University Hospital, a 393-bed acute care medical facility, and member of the University Hospital Consortium, located in Denver, Colo.
 CHC develops, provides, and supports enterprise-wide healthcare information systems, which utilize UNIX-based open systems computer architecture, for nearly 290 hospitals and other healthcare facilities primarily in North America and the United Kingdom.
