vvCaviarn ota s print great When the dust has settled over the riding of Black Caviar perhaps she can be looked at as just an average Group 1-class mare who certainly cannot be classed with other great sprinters of years past. The field she beat was nowhere near the best that Europe could have put up and a lot of the Aussie races must have been shoo-ins. The racing programme in Europe certainly wouldn't allow her to rack up a sequence like she did in Australia.

Bill Jolly vvUnderestimatedo pposition Black Caviar's jockey thought it was a shoo-in and underestimated our top European sprinters. She'd been racing against trees in Australia but came up against proper opposition here. However, she still won and that's the bottom line.

Tony Crossley, Rochdale vvNolen rodeag reatr ace Bonzer ride from the Aussie pilot. The mare is at the end of a hard season and Luke Nolen only gives her three slaps. Exemplary, if a little over-cautious.

We all know he's a great miler but you don't have to be Mr Memory to recall Dubai Millennium, Hawk Wing and Harbinger winning by huge distances. Simon Liles, Oxon vvBBC coveragee xcellent It's sad to lose the BBC at Royal Ascot. The coverage was excellent and the chiefs at the BBC need a kick up the backside.

Paul Lewis vvStouter esurgence A great Royal Ascot for Sir Michael Stoute - two winners and a second. He can still do it.
