A lovely gentleman My deepest condolences to Nick Gifford and all family and friends of Josh Gifford. Josh was wonderful for standing by Bob Champion when he was ill and telling owners who wanted someone other than Bob to ride their horses to go elsewhere. That is remarkable loyalty that everyone should adhere to and learn from. The fairytale story of Aldaniti winning the Grand National will always be remembered as will Josh, a lovely gentleman who will be missed.

Wendy Keelan, London Simply a legend Josh Gifford, simply a legend. Now in the celestial trainers' bar at the top table, with Ryan Price, Tim Forster, Bob Turnell, Fulke Walwyn, Fred Rimell, Fred Winter, Arthur Stephenson, David Nicholson and Gordon (GW) Richards. Thanks, Josh.

Kevin Hartley Poorer for his passing RIP Josh Gifford, a great jockey, a great trainer and a superb human being. Racing will be poorer for his passing and the world could do with a lot more like him. My sympathy to all his family.

Brendan, Gloucs Funny and nice Josh Gifford was the funniest and nicest trainer I ever had the pleasure to drink with at the races. RIP Josh.

Jimmy
