CHART-TOPPING C + C MUSIC FACTORY TO MAKE SITCOM ACTING DEBUT ON

TOUCHSTONE TELEVISION'S 'BLOSSOM' MONDAY, MARCH 2, 8:30 P.M. ON NBC
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Grammy Award-nominated recording sensation C + C Music Factory will make its acting debut on "Blossom," airing Monday, March 2, at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on NBC. Recently, the popular, chart-topping band swept the American Music Awards, capturing five honors including Best Duo or Group in the Pop/Rock category and Best New Artist in the Dance category.
In the "Blossom" episode entitled "You Must Remember This," written by Eve Needleman and directed by Zane Buzby, Blossom (Mayim Bialik) and her best friend Six (Jenna von Oy) convince their parents that they must wait in line all night outside a record store to ensure good seats for an upcoming C + C Music Factory concert.
After a disappointing turn of events in their vigil, the girls' fortunes change when they have a memorable chance encounter with their favorite dance band. C + C Music Factory members Robert Clivilles, David Cole and Zelma Davis perform part of their hit single, "Things That Make You Go Hmmm ..." on the show.
C + C Music Factory is nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist. The group has also recently won numerous other accolades including five American Music Awards, Best Dance Video at the MTV Video Music Awards and Billboard's Top New Pop Artist.
"Blossom" is a Witt-Thomas Production in association with Touchstone Television. Paul Witt, Tony Thomas and Don Reo are executive producers; Reo is the creator.
