 CHARITY RACE TO BE PART OF ADIOS WEEK AT LADBROKE AT THE MEADOWS
 MEADOW LANDS, Pa., July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Ladbroke at The Meadows today announced that a former Pirate, former Steeler and current Pittsburgh Penguin will highlight a charity race at The Meadows during Adios Week.
 Phil Bourque of the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins, former Pirate pitcher and current announcer Jim Rooker, former Steeler quarterback and Channel 11 sports announcer Mark Malone, KDKA-TV sports announcer Bob Pompeani and Channel 4 features reporter Yvonne Zanos will all highlight the charity event.
 The race will be held between the eighth and ninth races on Sunday night, Aug. 16, the final day of Adios Week.
 In will be the first appearance for Malone, Bourque and Rooker in a Meadows Charity Race. Making her second appearance will be Zanos, and the veteran of the group, Pompeani, will be making his third start.
 A total of $8,000 in charity money will be up for grabs. The participants will all get to name their charities for the race. First place winnings are $3,000, second place is $2,000, third place $1,500, fourth place $1,000 and fifth place is $500.
