 CHAMBERS ISSUES STATEMENT
PITTSBURGH, April 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Chambers Development Company,

Inc. (AMEX: CDVA, CDVB), today noted that the content of a Form 8-K of the company, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 22, 1992, has been publicly characterized in a manner not based on the Form 8-K itself.
The company has terminated its prior auditors and has retained a "big six" accounting firm to audit the 1991 financial statement. Until that audit is complete, the company does not believe that speculation as to its outcome is either productive or likely to be accurate.
