CHAIRMAN AND CEO OF FREDDIE MAC TO OPEN BICENTENNIAL LECTURE SERIES AT NEW YORK CITY LAW FIRM WHO: Leland C. Brendsel, chairman and chief executive officer of
Freddie Mac (Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation), will address staff and invited clients of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, the nation's oldest major law firm in continuous practice. Brendsel's speech will address the topic, "The Future of Housing Finance in the United States." It will be followed by a cocktail reception.
WHAT: Brendsel's speech inaugurates the Cadwalader Bicentennial
Year Lecture Series, in which ten or more corporate, financial and legal leaders will address members of the Cadwalader staff and invited clients in the coming months.
The lecture series is one of several events planned in conjunction with the firm's year-long observation of its bicentennial. Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft was founded in New York by John Wells in 1792.
