CFI PROSERVICES INC. ANNOUNCES INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING

 PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- CFI ProServices Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: PROI) announced the initial public offering of 1,800,000 shares of common stock at a price of $9.75 per share. Of the total, 1,500,000 shares were offered by the company and 300,000 shares were offered by selling shareholders. Hambrecht & Quist Inc., Allen & Co. Inc. and Dain Bosworth Inc. co-managed the underwriting group.
 CFI ProServices is a supplier of software-based compliance products to the financial services industry in the United States. The company combines its software, banking and legal expertise in the delivery of knowledge-based solutions that document loan and deposit transactions in compliance with federal and state laws and customers' internal policies. The company's two main products, Laser Pro and Deposit Pro, use DOS-based personal computers and desktop printers to produce the documents required for loan applications, loan closings and new deposit accounts.
