CEPHALON NAMES DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT WEST CHESTER, Penn., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Cephalon, Inc.
(NASDAQ: CEPH) announced that Nicholas Landekic has joined the company as director of business development. The announcement was made today by Jack Lief, vice president of corporate development for Cephalon, Inc.
Nick joins Cephalon from Bristol-Myers Squibb Corporation where he was senior manager, business planning, worldwide strategic management, specializing in CNS (Central Nervous System). Prior to Bristol-Myers Squibb, Nick spent four years with the McNeil Pharmaceutical Division of Johnson & Johnson, most recently as manager, new business development. "We are pleased to have Nick join corporate development at Cephalon," stated Jack Lief. "Nick brings with him valuable expertise in the evaluation of licensing opportunities, markets, and new business development. These skills will be increasingly important as Cephalon moves more of its lead compounds from research through clinical trials and into marketing."
