CENTURY CONTROLS ANNOUNCES COMPUTERIZED CONTROL SYSTEMS CONTRACTS
ST. PAUL, Minn., June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Leo Christiansen, president of Century Controls, Inc. announced today the receipt of orders for multiple boiler computerized systems from National Steel Company, Rush Presbyterian Hospital and the Pontiac Correctional Center all located in Illinois. In addition, the company has just completed the installations of automated fuel and pollution reduction systems at Humboldt and Adams schools for the City of St. Paul.
In line with the much publicized U.N. Earth Summit, Century Controls, Inc., with its technology, continues to move forward in its efforts to provide energy saving and pollution control products for the commercial and industrial boiler market. Century Controls, Inc. in conjunction with Holman Boiler Co. of Dallas has developed a new application integrating its control system that will significantly reduce nitrous oxides, prevent carbon monoxide pollution while at the same time providing fuel savings that can pay for the entire system. The company knows of no other NOx reduction system that increases rather than decreases operating efficiency.
Christiansen further stated that with the recent rise in oil prices plus the recent amendment in the Clean Air Act mandating nitrous oxide compliance by 1995, Century Controls, Inc. has the largest number of bid proposals outstanding in the company's history.
Century Controls, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Century Controls International, Inc., whose common stock is traded on the NASDAQ Bulletin Board, symbol CYCO.
