 STOCKHOLDERS' MEETING SCHEDULED FOR AUG. 25
 SHAMOKIN, Pa., May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual stockholders' meeting for Central Pennsylvania Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: CPSA) will be held Aug. 25, 1992, at 10 a.m., it was announced today.
 The stockholders' meeting will be held in the offices of the corporation's subsidiary, Central Pennsylvania Savings, 100 W. Independence St., Shamokin. Shareholders of record of July 10, 1992, will be eligible to vote at the annual meeting. The board also appointed Directors John Reid, William Zurick and Louis Bell as proxies for the meeting. Janice Steinhart was appointed inspector of election for the annual meeting.
 Central Pennsylvania Savings, which was originally chartered in 1873, is the wholly owned subsidiary of Central Pennsylvania Financial Corporation. The association is the 15th largest savings institution in Pennsylvania with 23 offices throughout central, southeastern and southern Pennsylvania. Offices are located in Shamokin, Mount Carmel, Williamsport, Lewisburg, Danville, Shamokin Dam, Sunbury, Hershey, Camp Hill, Lancaster, York, Columbia, Wrightsville, Fairview Village, West Point, Quakertown, Norristown, Reading, Warminster, Allentown and Philadelphia.
