 CENTRAL AND SOUTH WEST NAMES VICE PRESIDENT OF SPECIAL PROJECTS
 DALLAS, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Central and South West Corporation (NYSE: CSR) today said Paul E. Graf has been named vice president of special projects for its Central and South West Services, Inc., subsidiary.
 Graf, 40, currently is northern region general manager for Central Power and Light Company, another subsidiary of Central and South West.
 Graf will have responsibility for developing new business in Mexico and for other corporate projects. He will report to Thomas V. Shockley III, executive vice president of Central and South West.
 Graf join CPL in 1981 as a senior planning engineer in the system engineering department. He was promoted to director of system engineering in 1983, director of energy control in 1987, director of engineering services in 1988 and director of operation services in September 1991. He was promoted to his current job in November 1991.
 Before joining CPL, he was a project engineer for City Public Service Board in San Antonio.
 Graf has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&I University, which he attended on a scholarship from CPL. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas and a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
 Central and South West Corporation owns four electric utility companies: CPL, Public Service Company of Oklahoma, Southwestern Electric Power Company and West Texas Utilities Company. These companies provide electric utility service to nearly four million people in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.
 Central and South West also owns Transok, Inc., an Oklahoma intrastate natural gas pipeline company, Central and South West Services and three other subsidiaries.
