 SIGN MAJOR AGREEMENT
 SAN JOSE, Calif., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Centigram Communications Corp. (NASDAQ: CGRM) and Brooktrout Technology Inc. today announced the signing of an agreement under which Brooktrout will supply custom multi-channel facsimile technology for Centigram's Audio Information Processor (AIP).
 The agreement is expected to generate more than $1 million in revenue in the coming year for Brooktrout, a leading designer and manufacturer of multi-channel integrated voice/fax hardware and software for the telecommunications industry.
 Centigram will use twin channel fax cards and custom driver software supplied by Brooktrout Technology to incorporate a number of new features into the FaxMemo part of its OneCall application products.
 The FaxMemo applications include: Fax Mail, which allows mailbox owners to receive all their incoming faxes into a personal mailbox from which they can retrieve them at any time, from anywhere. Fax Broadcast, which also allows users to send fax documents to a large number of people with only a single call. Fax Publishing, which allows companies to disseminate frequently requested fax documents to callers without the intervention of a person. Guaranteed Fax, which allows companies to ensure that callers will never receive a busy signal when trying to send through a fax.

 Brooktrout's twin-channel facsimile cards enable users to send and receive facsimiles on two channels simultaneously via the public telephone network. The twin-channel fax cards have various telephone interface options, including Loop, Direct Inward Dialing (DID) and T1. The boards are aimed at developers of multi-channel fax-mail systems and applications, including fax-mail servers for local area networks. E-Mail to fax servers, telephone company-operated store-and-forward services and integrated fax and voice response systems.
 Centigram's OneCall products are used by many of the Fortune 2000 companies and organizations, particularly those in the hospitality, education, health care and financial services sector. The company's products are distributed by a variety of PBX manufacturers, Regional Bell Operating Companies, and Independent Telephone Companies.
 Centigram Communicatins Corp., headquartered in San Jose, Calif., is a leading manufacturer and marketer of audio information processing (AIP) applications. AIP enables Centigram to solve communication problems by providing one call access to voice, data and fax information from any touch-tone telephone in a single call. For the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 1991, Centigram reported sales of $35.9 million a 46 percent increase in sales over fiscal 1990.
 Brooktrout is a market and technical leader in voice and facsimile messaging systems and holds a landmark patent in integrated voice and fax messaging. The company was the first to introduce multi-channel fax cards, combine voice and facsimile on a single card, use Direct Inward Dial (DID) for autorouting of facsimile messaging, and provide facsimile support for UNIX platforms.
