 CENTERCORE TO FORM AIRTEK DIVISION;
 UNIT WILL SUPPORT EXPANDING AIRFLOW PRODUCT LINES
 WAYNE, Pa., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- CenterCore, Inc., the interior environments company, announced today it has formed a new AIRTEK division to support its growth of Airflow 2000(TM), the company's patented air filtration system contained in its modular office furniture and free standing air cleaning units.
 AIRTEK will design, produce and market existing and new Airflow products to be distributed through CenterCore's domestic and international dealer network. It will be one of the only organizations in the country to concentrate on products that treat "Sick Building Syndrome" (SBS). SBS is a growing malady in office environments that afflicts workers with a variety of symptoms including headaches, fatigue and respiratory ailments.
 CenterCore said Airflow 2000, which is 99.97 percent efficient, uses a combination of filters to rid the air of contaminants such as viruses, molds, bacteria and dust that escape removal through conventional HVAC systems and to stabilize office air temperature. As a result, employees are more comfortable, healthy and productive.
 The product is available in Spacemaker 2000(TM), CenterCore's modular office furniture systems, and in independent units such as MobilAir. The company said it plans to expand its product lines to include panel units and designer products.
 AIRTEK will be headed by Robert G. Mitchell, who previously managed CenterCore's New York office and has extensive background in air filtration systems.
 CenterCore, Inc. designs and manufactures office furnishings including ergonomically designed workstations, computer terminal workstations, furniture-based air filtration products and office seating systems. Founded in 1984, CenterCore is based in Wayne with manufacturing facilities in Plainfield, N.J.; Mansfield, Ohio; and Waterloo, Ontario, and with dealers worldwide.
