CELEX SIGNS DISTRIBUTION PACT WITH AT&T; ANTICIPATE $2 MILLION IN FIRST YEAR SALES

 CHICAGO, Nov. 16 ~PRNewswire~ -- CELEX Group, Inc., the publicl y held creator and marketer of proprietary products for personal and business motivation, said today it concluded a product distribution agreement with American Telephone & Telegraph Corp. which could add some $2 million to CELEX annual sales, which are projected to reach $12 million in the fiscal year ending April 30, 1993.
 Mac Anderson, president and chief executive officer, said that CELEX formed a partnership with AT&T to distribute the CELEX 48 page Successories catalog to some 40,000 AT&T decision makers including customer service and quality managers, sales managers, office managers, human resource managers, division managers and supervisors.
 Anderson said the pact is part of AT&T's international program to promote quality and customer service at each of its locations. AT&T Network Systems just recently was recognized as one of five winners of the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award.
 The CELEX agreement is with the AT&T Customer Information Center, a division of AT&T Network Systems, which operates as a world-wide distributor to all AT&T offices and the Bell company affiliates. The center distributes printed materials, equipment operating manuals, computer parts and other products.
 Anderson said that the products in the CELEX Successories catalog will be used as a resource for ideas to promote quality and customer service at all AT&T locations world-wide. He said some 300,000 AT&T employees are linked by computer to the center and can also order products for their own personal use.
 The Successories catalog and brochures will be distributed in AT&T mailings approximately six times a year. Two of the mailings will include the fall and spring catalog. The other four mailings will consist of brochures promoting specific product lines such as wall decor, gift books, and recognition awards.
 CELEX Group consists of two businesses. The Celebrating Excellence direct mail catalog sells books with business themes, wall decor including lithographs, plaques, calligraphy and posters, desk accessories, recognition awards and motivational greeting cards. Successories is the company's new business-to-business franchise program which markets the catalog products and other related products through a retail-store format.
