CDR Michael P. Shay.

Commander Michael P. Shay, SC, USN, completed 22 years of active service and retired on July 1, 2014 after serving at Navy Expeditionary Logistics Regiment, Jacksonville, FL. He received his bachelor's degree at Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, MI and his master's degree at The University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ. His previous Officer duty stations include Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Reserve Component Command, Norfolk, VA; Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, Little Creek, VA; Naval Operational Logistics Support Center, Norfolk, VA; Naval Mobile construction Battalion 7, Gulf port, MS; Naval Air Station New Orleans, New Orleans, LA; USS Nassau (LHA 4) and USS Emory S Land (AS 39).
