CDI Corporation Announces Management Appointments.

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Staffing and outsourcing leader CDI Corp. (NYSE: CDI) today announced the following management appointments:

Frank Bowman has joined CDI Telecommunications, Inc. as Executive Vice President and General Manager, with operational and strategic responsibility for the division, reporting to CDI Technical Services President Rickard Hedeby. Bowman joins CDI from U S WEST, where he most recently served as Vice President, Network Operations and Technology.

Park Payne has been promoted to Executive Vice President and General Manager of Modern Engineering Inc., with operational and strategic responsibility for the division, reporting to Hedeby. Payne joined Modern Engineering in 1986 and was named Senior Vice President of the division earlier this year.

Jeff Diegel was named Executive Vice President - Staffing for CDI Information Technology Services, a newly created position. Diegel will have national responsibility for the division's staffing services. Diegel previously was Executive Vice President - Central Region, CDI Information Technology Services, reporting to Bob Mannarino, Chief Operating Officer and interim President of the unit. Diegel joined CDI in 1994.
