CDA to demolish govt quarters of G-6.

ISLAMABAD -- The Capital Development Authority has decided to demolish government quarters of G-6 and construct commercial buildings in its place. In view of this, CDA wing has kicked off work and member planning has given the task of construction and designing to Wasim Khan and Deputy Director Arshad Chuan who are working on this project secretly.

It has been claimed that during the previous tenure of Nawaz Sharif, it was decided all federal houses of G-6 would be demolished for the construction of new commercial building but the residents of the area held protest demonstration in this regard.

Meanwhile, sources told that G-6 quarters were established on emergency basis to facilitate the public heading to Islamabad from Karachi.

Now the quarters have become depleted and they need to be demolished or reconstructed to avoid any untoward incident.
