CCTV appeal after man racially abused.

POLICE want to speak to shoppers in Nuneaton who may have overheard vile racist abuse.

They have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in relation with the incident, which took place in the Ropewalk shopping centre.

On June 19 at 5pm the victim was standing close to Ministry of Defence menswear, when he was racially abused by a man who threatened him.

Police want to speak to a white man, aged between 30-35, 6ft tall, of stocky build with brown or ginger hair.

He was wearing black jeans, a thick blue or black winter coat and Timberland shoes.

Witnesses should contact police on 01926 415000, extension 5124.
