CCBN Partners with SEC Info to Provide Canadian CSA SEDAR Filings; Inclusion of SEDAR Filings Increases the Value of CCBN's IR Online Services.

Business/Technology Editors

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 29, 2001

SEC Info, a leading provider of securities information services based upon regulatory filings, announced today that CCBN, the leading provider of Internet-based shareholder communications services, has selected SEC Info to power the Canadian CSA SEDAR securities filings portion of its investor relations (IR) Web site service for public companies. SEC Info already supplies U.S. SEC EDGAR securities filings for CCBN's service, designed to help IR professionals manage their communications from within the IR section of their corporate Web sites. With the addition of the SEC Info SEDAR filings service, CCBN will improve the distribution of financial information of public companies in Canada to investors and other constituencies.

CCBN will use SEC Info for the SEC/CSA Filings portion of their IR Online services. Designed to meet the challenge of making SEC EDGAR and CSA SEDAR filings easier to access, SEC Info's technology generates SEC/CSA filings that are filled with hundreds of hypertext links, added to make the documents and exhibits easy to navigate. CCBN will leverage SEC Info customization capabilities to integrate SEC Info seamlessly into client sites. By having SEC Info available within their IR Web site, CCBN clients have the option of utilizing SEC Info for their U.S. SEC filings, Canadian CSA filings, or both, thus standardizing the way they publish their securities filings.

"Our clients in both the U.S. and Canada demand solutions that ensure quality delivery of financial information and that enable them to meet regulatory requirements," said Roland Beaulieu, COO at CCBN. "SEC Info clearly meets these requirements and will allow our Canadian clients to have a convenient and reliable means of keeping their filings up-to-date."

"Only SEC Info handles CSA filings," continued Beaulieu. "The exclusive ability to offer both SEC and CSA filings from one source is an attractive option for our clients that are listed on both U.S. and Canadian exchanges."

"We are very pleased that CCBN is leveraging our technology to provide their customers with advanced services," said Fran Finnegan, chairman & CEO, SEC Info. "We are continually gaining recognition as a premier provider of SEC/CSA filings," Finnegan said.
