CCAIR REPORTS TRAFFIC FOR JULY

 CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- CCAIR, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: CCAR), an independent airline providing service as USAir Express in the southeast United States, reported performance results today for July 1993.
 July passenger boardings and revenue passenger miles flown were down from July 1992, a month in which traffic was overly inflated by last summer's industrywide fare discounts.
 July 1993 revenue passenger miles flown were down 5.2 percent from July 1992, while available seat miles flown increased 3.9 percent and average passenger miles increased 11.4 percent. Passenger load factor was 47.5 percent which compares with 52.1 percent in July of last year.
 For the first seven months of 1993 the company posted increases of 19.0 percent in revenue passenger miles compared to the same period in 1992. Load factor for the first seven months of 1993 was 47.1 percent compared to 48.7 percent for the corresponding period of 1992.
