 CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- CCAIR, Inc. (NASDAQ: CCAR) an


independent company providing service as USAir Express in the southeast United States reported performance results today for April 1992.
 Increases were reported for passenger volume 4.2 percent, revenue passenger miles 6.3 percent and available seat miles 16.7 percent compared to April 1991. The airline increased its fleet size by three (3) aircraft or 16.7 percent over April 1991. New service was implemented in March 1992 to Anderson, South Carolina and Pittsburgh, as well as additional weekend service to existing markets. With the new service and Easter being in April this year, which affected business traffic, load factor declined 8.7 percent.
