CCAIR EXTENDS 10-K FILING WITH THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION (d)

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- CCAIR, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: CCAR), an independent airline providing service as USAir Express in the southeast United States, announced today it filed for a fifteen-day extension in filing its 10-K report with the Securities and Exchange Commission. CCAIR is questioning the ticket sampling procedure used by a major airline to settle intercarrier billings. It does not appear this issue will be resolved during the extension. If not, CCAIR will report a conservative revenue figure for the year. CCAIR anticipates that this will result in an annual loss between 39 cents and 43 cents per share.
