 CBOE, CBOT TO HOST EIGHTH ANNUAL RISK MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE
 FEB. 5-8 AT TURNBERRY ISLE RESORT IN NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FLA.
 CHICAGO, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) will host the 1992 annual Risk Management Conference -- called "Striking the Right Balance With Derivatives" -- at the Turnberry Isle Resort in North Miami Beach, Fla., Feb. 5-8, 1992.
 The conference draws pension plan sponsors, corporate treasurers, chief financial officers, portfolio managers, mutual fund managers and brokers. It is designed for new as well as seasoned users of derivatives.
 Four distinguished speakers will join other industry professionals and executives for this informative, educational forum organized by the world's largest futures and options exchanges: Merton H. Miller, Nobel laureate and University of Chicago professor; David M. Jones, "Fed watcher" and chief economist at Aubrey G. Lanston & Co., Inc.; George F. Will, syndicated columnist; and markets analyst Ned Davis, president of Ned Davis Research, Inc.
 The conference opens on Wednesday, Feb. 5 with registration and a reception, followed by two days of workshops and presentations. Subjects range from an introduction to derivatives and the basics of hedging equity or fixed-income portfolios to discussion on insurance company use of derivatives and advanced methods of implementing asset allocation programs using options.
 Will speaks after Thursday's breakfast, and Davis will give a luncheon address and discuss his outlook for the stock and bond markets. Jones will open Friday's program by discussing "Fed Watching and Forecasting Interest Rates." Miller will speak Saturday on global competitiveness and market efficiency, and lead a discussion on trends in financial innovation.
