CBC Reorganizes

Canadian Broadcasting Corp.'s president, Gerard Veilleux, has rearranged the duties of retired vp Denis Harvey by splitting them between Trina McQueen, the new vp, news, current affairs and Newsworld, and Ivan Fecan, the new arts and entertainment vp.

In addition to scheduling, Fecan will assume responsibility for TV advertising and TV program sales.

Roman Melnyk, director of CBC TV network, will take over the new post of executive director, media operations, reporting to McQueen. Inta Erwin (nee Janovskis), head of CBC TV Program Sales, now reports to Fecan.
