CB Richard Ellis secures global corporate services account.

Salt Lake City - The Salt Lake City office of CB RICHARD ELLIS (CBRE) announced that Jacob Bates and Eric Smith, global corporate service executives, have been selected by BOART LONGYEAR to provide global site selection, transaction and portfolio management services for its 2.8-million-square-foot global portfolio.


The portfolio includes more than 140 owned and leased facilities located across 30 countries.

"Our decision to enter into this partnership with CB Richard Ellis was motivated by their ability to enable us to centralize and enhance our global real estate requirements and lower our operating cost structure," says Laurie Donovan, head of global commercial real estate for Boart Longyear. "CB Richard Ellis offers a tremendous advantage to international companies in emerging markets in assisting them to meet their growth projections."

Boart Longyear, based in Salt Lake City, was founded in 1890, and is an integrated drilling services provider and products manufacturer for the mineral exploration industry.
