CB Richard Ellis named to 'Companies That Care' roll.

CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. has been named to the Companies That Care Honor Roll for 2008. The Honor Roll was established by The Center for Companies That Care, a national not-for-profit organization, to publicly recognize companies that highly value their employees, make a commitment to community service and reflect strong values in their daily business practices.

CB Richard Ellis is one of 41 U.S.-based companies named to the 2008 Honor Roll. Other well-known honorees include ADP, AmTrust Bank, Deloitte LLP, Enterprise Fleet Management, KPMG LLP, McKinley, Inc. and Office Depot, Inc., among others.

Companies are selected for the Companies That Care Honor Roll through a nomination process, based on their performance against ten criteria related to employee relations and community involvement. Among these criteria are:

Sustaining a work environment founded on dignity and respect for all employees; Cultivating the full potential of all employees; Developing great leaders, at all levels; Establishing standards for ethical behavior and integrity; and Getting involved in community endeavors and/or public policy.

The results of an employee survey, which The Center for Companies That Care sends to 1,000 randomly selected employees at each nominated company, weigh heavily in determining the Honor Roll.

"We are extremely proud of our inclusion in the Companies That Care Honor Roll," said Cal Frese, president, The Americas at CB Richard Ellis. "As a company, we have embraced the timeless principles of respect, integrity, service and excellence, and these RISE values have contributed to a strong and collegial corporate culture. We work very hard to create a fulfilling work environment, and every employee contributes to this effort. Our employees deserve credit for this recognition."

In 2006, through the CB Richard Ellis Foundation, the company launched CBRE Cares, its nationwide corporate philanthropy program. CBRE Cares serves as an overarching platform to further employees' volunteer efforts and raises monies for the company's charitable partners: American Cancer Society, National Kidney Foundation and Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. In addition, CBRE Cares supports various CBRE signature programs, including the "Birthday Cakes for Homeless Children" program, a home-grown, grassroots initiative undertaken in many CB Richard Ellis offices across the U.S.

CBRE's "RISE" corporate values--Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence--and the CBRE Cares philanthropic initiative were both key factors in the company's selection to the Companies That Care Honor Roll.
