CAUBLE NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR TENNECO EUROPE, LTD.
HOUSTON, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TGT) announced today that James N. Cauble has been promoted to senior vice president, finance and administration, for Tenneco Europe Ltd. Cauble, 41, will assume responsibility for all Tenneco financings outside North and South America. His duties will include operating Tenneco's international finance company, Tenneco International Finance Limited, and directing the accounting, tax, systems, insurance and human resource functions of Tenneco Europe. He will report to Robert T. Blakely, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Tenneco Inc. Cauble was most recently Tenneco's treasurer. His responsibilities included cash management, short-term and long-term financing, project finance and insurance. Cauble joined Tenneco in 1984 and was named treasurer in 1991. Cauble replaces Ken Carr, who recently resigned. Cauble will relocate to London and will assume his new duties Jan. 1, 1994. Prior to joining Tenneco, Cauble held a variety of financial positions with El Paso Natural Gas and Southern Natural Gas. In 1976, Cauble received a master of business administration degree from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science from North Carolina State University in 1974.
