 CATERPILLAR/UAW TALKS RESUME
 WASHINGTON, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Mediation and


Conciliation Service (FMCS) Director Bernard E. DeLury announced today that he will meet with representatives of Caterpillar, Inc. (NYSE: CAT), and the United Auto Workers (UAW) Union to resume contract negotiations. The parties will meet with DeLury at the FMCS District office in St. Louis at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 30.
 Company and union officials last met with DeLury on April 13-14 at his invitation and agreed to continue negotiations under the auspices of FMCS.
