CASINO MAGIC CORP. REPORTS ESTIMATED FOURTH-QUARTER REVENUES FOR NEW CASINO

 BAY SAINT LOUIS, Miss., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Casino Magic Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS: CMAG) said today that net gaming revenues for its Bay Saint Louis, Miss., casino were approximately $23.5 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1992.
 The Bay Saint Louis casino, which first opened for business on Sept. 30, completed its second phase of construction with the opening of a 20,000-square-foot second level on Dec. 25.
 Including the newly opened gaming area, the Bay Saint Louis casino now operates approximately 1,050 slot machines, 64 table games and a 35-seat Keno in the casino's 41,000 square feet.
 Marlin F. Torguson, president and chief executive officer of Casino Magic, said, "We opened our second-level gaming area on schedule, with excellent customer response. Customer traffic was strong through the New Year's holiday and our net gaming revenues continue to meet or exceed our expectations."
 Casino Magic said it was releasing estimated net gaming revenues for this first quarter of the Bay Saint Louis casino's operation in advance of its audited quarterly results. Complete audited results for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31 will be reported at a later date.
