CASE AGAINST LLOYD'S OF LONDON TO MOVE TO COMMERCIAL COURT

CASE AGAINST LLOYD'S OF LONDON TO MOVE TO COMMERCIAL COURT
LONDON, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Justice Mervyn Davies has agreed

with the defendants in the Freeman case against Lloyd's of London and Lloyd's underwriting agents to transfer the case to commercial rather than chancery court.
Davies agreed that the venue was more appropriate, and with the argument that the case has to do with contract law, not trust funds and trusts. There can be no appeal against the decision.
The case can, if desired, be heard in open court and judgment be given in open court.
