CARTERS INCREASES PRODUCTION AT SENATOBIA, MISSISSIPPI PLANT

 MORROW, Ga., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Fred J. Rowan II, president and chief executive officer of the William Carter Company cited increased demand from consumers as the reason for the company's decision to rehire some 200 employees at its Senatobia, Miss., plant.
 The plant manufactures underwear and layette garments for which demand has been particularly high.
 Rowan noted that, "if increased business warrants it, there is no doubt that we will be thinking of even further increases in production at Senatobia in the future."
 The William Carter Company and its Carter's brand name is the most respected name in the children's apparel business. It is one of the largest manufactures of high quality branded children's apparel in the world, with operations in Georgia, Texas and Mississippi.
