CARTER HAWLEY HALE TO CLOSE CHRISTOWN STORE LOS ANGELES, April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Carter Hawley Hale Stores Inc.
(NYSE: CHH) today announced that it will close its Broadway Southwest store at Christown Mall in Phoenix.
The company will be filing a motion to reject the lease next week and expects to close the store by August. The 153,000-square-foot facility was opened in 1962 and presently employs 167 people. The company intends to offer these people positions at other Broadway Southwest stores.
