CARLSON HOSPITALITY GROUP UNVEILS PLANS FOR EXTENSIVE LODGING AND RESTAURANT OPERATIONS IN BRANSON, MO.

 BRANSON, Mo., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Carlson Hospitality Group, Inc., one of America's leading upscale hotel and restaurant companies, joined today with the developers of a spectacular new entertainment and recreational complex in Branson, in announcing plans for three hotels and a restaurant as key parts of this expansive new development called Heartland America.
 Carlson Hospitality Group, Inc., which is the parent company of Radisson Hotels International, Country Lodging by Carlson and T.G.I. Friday's restaurants plus other lodging and restaurant brands, said that plans for Heartland America include a 350-room Radisson Hotel, a 225-room Radisson all-suite hotel and a 150-room Country Suites by Carlson. Plans are also underway for a T.G.I. Friday's restaurant at the Heartland America project.

 "Branson, Missouri has become a tourism phenomenon of the 1990s and this new 'mega' entertainment project with its theaters, shopping, retail stores, hotels and restaurants is destined to become an international attraction for this growing city," Bartels added.
 The Heartland America project is being jointly developed by the Presley family and the Indianapolis-based Talentino, Horn & Co. Inc. E. Robert Horn and Joseph R. Talentino most recently developed Mall of America for Melvin Simon and Associates Inc. Mall of America is the largest and most successful fully enclosed combination retail and family entertainment complex in the United States. Mall of America is located in Bloomington, Minn.
 Plans for Carlson Hospitality Group operations at Heartland America include an elegant lodging complex featuring a 225-unit Radisson all- suite guest room tower and a 350-room Radisson Hotel tower connected by a dramatic, glass-enclosed atrium. This atrium area will feature a lush "Winter Garden" atmosphere and will be directly connected by pedestrian bridge to the Heartland America live theater complexes.
 Another area of the development will feature a 150-unit Country Suites by Carlson, a popular limited-service lodging chain offering all- suite guest room accommodations, attractive country-style interior designs and competitive prices. The development also includes plans for a T.G.I. Friday's restaurant, America's most popular full-service restaurant chain, to be located adjacent the hotel and theater complex.
 Construction on the Heartland America complex is scheduled to begin in late summer 1993 and will open in spring 1995.
