CARDIO KICK; EXERCISE OF THE WEEK.

If you want to smash away those calories then cardio kick could just help you win the fight. Benefits: A cardio kick or kickboxing circuit often features punching and kicking combinations combined with athletic-training moves and strength training exercises. Performing moves in a circuit helps you burn more calories, fights boredom, and offers an all-body workout. Athletic moves, such as jumping and running will often form part of a circuit. The strength training moves could involve equipment such as barbells, dumbbells and medicine balls, or consist of body-weight exercises, like wall sits, crunches and push-ups.

Calorie count: Depending on the individual and the intensity of the exercise, you could burn an impressive 500 calories an hour doing a cardio kick class.

Where can I go? Many local leisure centres and private-gym facilities will include a cardio kick training session in their timetable.
