CARDINAL DISTRIBUTION, INC. TO REDEEM ON JULY 2, 1993 ITS 7-1/4 PERCENT CONVERTIBLE SUBORDINATED DEBENTURES DUE 2015

 DUBLIN, Ohio, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Cardinal Distribution, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDIC) today announced that it has called for redemption on July 2, 1993, all of its outstanding 7-1/4 percent Convertible Subordinated Debentures due 2015. The redemption price is $1,050.75 plus accrued interest of $0.20 for each $1,000 principal amount of Debentures, making a total of $1,050.95 payable for each such $1,000 principal amount. As of the close of business on June 10, 1993, the aggregate principal amount of outstanding Debentures totaled $75 million.
 Holders of the Debentures also have the right to convert their Debentures into 45.68 Cardinal common shares for each $1,000 principal amount of Debentures. The right to convert the Debentures into Cardinal common shares will expire at 5:00 p.m. (Indianapolis time) on July 2, 1993.
 Cardinal Distribution, Inc. supplies pharmaceuticals, medical and surgical supplies, and related health products to drug stores, hospital pharmacies, and other customers located primarily in the eastern United States.
