CARD SHAME; ESHER 50 NOTTINGHAM 15.

FOR the second successive week Nottingham paid the price for indiscipline as three players were shown the yellow card against Esher.

Despite falling behind to an early try from Nash Shumba Nottingham fought back well, equalising through Richard Lloyd.

Tries from Thomas Long and Paddy Seymour looked to have put Esher in control but Nottingham fought back well. They levelled the score at 15 each at the break with a penalty from Russell Southam and a second try from Lloyd.

Esher took control in the second half, running in five more tries to record a comfortable win.

But it was a serious neck injury to Nottingham's Tom Woolrich that took the edge off the game.

The young hooker was stretchered from the field and was eventually taken to Kingston Hospital almost an hour after the game had finished.
