CAPITAL ACQUISITIONS ACQUIRES EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO FRANCHISE DOMINO'S PIZZA IN POLAND

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Acquisitions, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAAS) today announced it has purchased the exclusive rights to franchise Domino's Pizza(R) home-delivery stores in the Republic of Poland. Under the terms of the master franchise agreement, Capital Acquisitions will pay Domino's Pizza International an undisclosed amount for the rights to develop, own and operate at least 50 stores over the next 10 years and the commissary which will serve the outlets.
Mitchell Rubinson, Capital Acquisitions' chairman and chief executive officer, said the company's long-term growth plan calls for 10 of the 50 stores to be located in downtown Warsaw with the remaining outlets planned for other major metropolitan cities throughout Poland. He added that the company plans to construct the commissary by early 1994 and open three stores within the next year.
"We are really excited to bring Domino's Pizza to this emerging market," Rubinson said. "Our growth expectations are fueled by the positive demographics of this newly democratic state and our prior success with other restaurants. With little ethnic diversity, Poland has a youthful population with an average age of under 30, which is the lowest in Europe. Poles are also strongly pro-American and eager to embrace American concepts." He said that the rapid acceptance of other Western products and services in Poland should help the company expand the Domino's Pizza concept throughout the country. He added that while the current plan calls for a minimum of 50 outlets, the company expects to exceed this amount.
Domino's Pizza is the largest home-delivery pizza franchise in the United States. Domino's patrons generally place their orders by telephone and have them delivered by one of the store's drivers. The stores guarantee delivery within 30 minutes or the order is free.
Rubinson added that this is Capital Acquisitions' second franchise venture in Poland. The company, through its consolidated subsidiary, International Fast Food Corporation (NASDAQ: FOOD), is the exclusive Burger King(R) franchisee for the Republic of Poland. International Fast Food has three Burger King restaurants currently open in Warsaw and has a fourth under construction.
