CANONIE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES CORP. ANNOUNCES SELECTION OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

 DALLAS, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Canonie Environmental Services Corp. (NASDAQ: CANO), a leading provider of engineering and remedial services for the cleanup of hazardous waste sites, announced that Cal Massmann has been selected as the company's new chief financial officer. His previous positions include his most recent one as vice president of finance and administration with Grace Drilling Corporation. He spent 10 years in various senior financial and accounting positions with Grace Energy Corporation, and 11 years with the public accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. Massmann's experience and management skills are expected to have a major positive impact on improving Canonie's financial performance.
 A native of Deshler, Ohio, and veteran of four years active duty in the U.S. Navy, Massmann holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting form California State University in Northridge, Calif. He and his wife Donna, along with their three children, reside in Fairview, Texas.

The firm has over 14 years of experience in site investigation and characterization, strategic planning, engineering, construction and operation and maintenance.
