 ANNOUNCES NEW REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
 PORTER, Ind., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Canonie Environmental Services Corp. (NASDAQ: CANO) announced on Feb. 3, 1992 the appointment of Dr. Neno Duplancic, 36, as regional operations manager of Northern California. Prior to joining Canonie, Duplancic was the director of Site Operations and Engineering for International Technology Corporation (IT). He occupied various positions at IT for seven years. Before joining IT, he worked for D'Appolonia Consulting Engineers in their European offices in Brussels and Genoa.
 Duplancic holds an M.S. from Carnegie-Mellon and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He is the author of ITEMS(TM), IT Corporation's state-of-the-art Environmental Data Management System. Most recently, he successfully directed closures of IT's hazardous waste disposal sites. In November 1990, he traveled to Eastern Europe with California Lt. Gov. Leo McCarthy, where he met with high government officials and environmental ministers of the countries he visited. He is intimately familiar with environmental issues facing European nations. He is the author of more than 20 scientific papers.
