CAMPBELL SOUP ANNOUNCES 12 PERCENT DIVIDEND INCREASE

 CAMDEN, N.J., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- At its annual meeting of shareowners today, Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) Chairman, President and CEO David W. Johnson announced that the company's board of directors approved a 12 percent increase in the quarterly dividend, from 25 cents to 28 cents per share.
 The increased quarterly dividend of 28 cents per share will be paid on Jan. 31, 1994, to shareowners of record at the close of business on Jan. 7.
