CAMPBELL NAMES NEW CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE
 CAMDEN, N.J., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire -- Campbell Soup Company

(NYSE: CPB) today announced the election J. Neil Stalter as vice president - corporate communications.
Stalter, who has built a national reputation at Eastman Kodak Company, will lead an effort to sharply increase corporate communications' strengths in three major areas: media relations beyond North America; employee communications, including special events; and new communications directions and strategies.
"Neil brings to Campbell a track record of success as the vice president at Eastman Kodak Company in charge of its major internal and external communications activities," said John M. Coleman, senior vice president - law and public affairs and corporate secretary. His responsibilities at Kodak included media relations, employee communications, community relations, business presentations and corporate initiatives in support of education and diversity.
Stalter's Kodak career began in 1960, following his graduation from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in communications arts. Prior to assuming his most recent Kodak position, he led the establishment of the company's employee and external communications' network, which included a television news service and other innovative employee communications programs. He has been a member of Kodak's Quality Council with overall management responsibility for communications and public affairs.
Before joining the corporate staff in 1978, he held positions in both the imaging and chemicals sectors. He served as an Eastman Chemical advertising manager and as its marketing manager for floorcovering fibers. Assignments in New York City and Kingsport, Tennessee, preceded his relocation to the Rochester, N.Y., corporate headquarters.
Stalter is a native of Wilmington, Del. He and his wife, Patricia Bruce Stalter, have three children and soon will be moving from their home in Rochester, N.Y. to the Delaware Valley.
