CAMBRIDGE BIOCHEMICS INC. ANNOUNCES FIRST SALE

 VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambridge Biochemics' (Vancouver: CBC) U.S. subsidiary, SoundSoft Inc., announces the first sale and installation of its specialty-niche software program TRANSFILE, developed for the sound-design segment of the entertainment and multimedia industries.
 TRANSFILE, is the first of many software packages to be marketed by SoundSoft, and specifically targets the 600 users of the New England Digital (NED) Synclavier and PostPro Systems and was installed on Beckett Production Ltd.'s NED for the current price of US$5,000.
 Beckett is a Vancouver-based audio post production facility with extensive entertainment industry credits that include such feature films as "Look Who's Talking" and "Cousins" as well as television series including "Lightning Force," "Mom PI," "Madison" and "Nightmare Cafe."
 President Hal Beckett said today, "This exciting new piece of software is essential for every NED owner who has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in this equipment and is interested in staying current and it's great that a third-party company like SoundSoft has taken the initiative to develop such a state-of-the-art product."
 SoundSoft Inc.'s Chief Systems Designer, Gary Costner and National Marketing Manager, Gary Heard of Nashville, Tenn., will now travel to Atlanta, for the next installation of the software package.
 With TRANSFILE now in the marketplace and additional products soon to be offered to the entertainment and multimedia industries, SoundSoft is quickly achieving its goal of becoming the "specialty- niche software" developer and marketer for those rapidly advancing industries.
