SONY ERICSSON VIVAZ
Price dependent on contract ***
After the relative disappointment of the Satio, Sony Ericsson have much riding on the Vivaz. While it does a lot right for a feature phone, there are annoyances that hold it back. First the good. Primarily a cameraphone, the Vivaz performs well here. Its 8.1 MP stills could compete with a mid-range digital camera, and the 720p video recording is comparable to most pocket camcorders. Call quality is clean. However, the Vivaz can be clumsy when it comes to usability. The sluggish, resistive touchscreen can make it a chore to use the Vivaz for day-to-day tasks and the PlayNow app store can't hold a candle to other application portals doing the rounds.
