 BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION MEETINGS
 The California Public Employees' Retirement System's (CalPERS) Board of Administration will be holding its October meetings at the Fairmont Hotel, 170 South Market St., San Jose.
 CalPERS-contracting employers, representatives of employer and employee organizations, active PERS members and retirees are invited to attend.
 The 13-member board manages the largest public pension system in the nation, providing retirement coverage for more than 2,400 public agencies throughout California.
 Meeting agendas center on establishing PERS policies and administering benefits programs and services for more than 900,000 active and retired public employees.
 The dates and times follow:
 -- Investment Committee, 1:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19
 -- Benefits and Program Administration Committee, 1 p.m., Tuesday,
 Oct. 20
 -- Board of Administration, 9 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21
