CALIBRE Awarded Contract for Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) in Support of the U.S. Army Environmental Command (USAEC).

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The Army Contracting Agency made multiple awards for environmental support services in the unrestricted portfolio to CALIBRE Systems, Inc. (CALIBRE), Booz Allen Hamilton, and TEAM Integrated Engineering, Inc. CALIBRE will lead a team of seven companies. The three year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) performance-based contract to CALIBRE has one base year and two option periods with a total contract value of up to $16.5M if all options are exercised.

TEAM CALIBRE includes the following best in industry providers of environmental, technical, and management services: ERM, LMI, Z-GeoInfo, EIGov, APLEN, ARMR Net, and Virginia Tech.

"Terms of the contract call for TEAM CALIBRE to provide a full range of Advisory and Assistance services in support of the U.S. Army Environmental Center's mission: Management and professional support services; studies, analyses, and evaluation services; engineering and technical services; and administration services," said CALIBRE's Mr. Jeffrey Giangiuli, Vice President Environmental, Safety and Risk Management.

"This is a good win for us because it is consistent with the mission-critical work we do in performance based acquisition. CALIBRE has assisted the Army in awarding more than 50 performance-based acquisition initiatives resulting in cost avoidance in excess of $290 million," stated Joseph A. Martore, Executive Vice President, Operations of CALIBRE.

The team may perform work throughout the continental United States and territories.
