CADRE ANNOUNCES ANALYSIS SOLUTIONS TO ENHANCE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
PROVIDENCE, R.I., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Cadre Technologies Inc. today announced its Teamwork(R) Analysis Solutions, a set of products that improve the ability of developers to produce quality systems and applications. Cadre's new solutions -- Dynamic Analysis, Rapid Applications Prototyping and Requirements Analysis -- extend the domain of traditional software requirements analysis and development with additional capabilities including simulation and prototyping.
All of these solutions are based on advanced technologies that provide developers with a more effective approach to traditional software development processes. With an interactive and animated display of a structured analysis model, developers can examine process utilization, latency, event timing, bottlenecks, activity levels, current state, and information flow.
Dynamic Analysis is built on Teamwork/SA(R), an interactive structured analysis and functional specification tool, Teamwork/RT(R), the real-time extension tool for control flow modeling of event-driven or real-time software, and the Teamwork/SIM(R) simulation tool. Rapid Applications Prototyping
Rapid Applications Prototyping allows a developer to quickly prototype a new application based on a structured analysis model and demonstrate its user interface and operation. The developer can therefore validate the functionality of an application by showing the end-user how the application will operate before any design or coding begins. The developer can easily incorporate and demonstrate any requested changes and ensure these changes are reflected in the functional specifications.
With the Rapid Applications Prototyping solution, developers can craft a prototype graphical user interface, create prototype logic -- based on a non-ambiguous structured analysis model -- and access an existing database to quickly and iteratively incorporate and demonstrate changes requested by users.

Requirements Analysis provides a basic capability to gather, document and analyze product requirements. It supports a comprehensive ability to describe system requirements unambiguously.
Its automated and interactive graphics and text editors allow developers to enter and check detailed descriptions of the intended software's functions. The output is a set of functional specification documents free of errors that are common to simple textual specifications.
