CACI INTENDS TO ACQUIRE AMERICAN LEGAL SYSTEMS
ARLINGTON, Va., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- CACI International Inc (NASDAQ: CACI) said today that it has executed a letter of intent to acquire American Legal Systems Corporation (ALS), a privately owned firm that specializes in providing litigation support services to law firms and major corporations throughout the nation. Terms were not disclosed pending the execution of closing documents. CACI expects the acquisition will not be dilutive to its earnings. CACI intends to complete its due diligence and close the transaction by July 31, 1992.
ALS, a 12-year-old company, is considered one of the leading firms in the country involved in using computer technology to manage and organize the documents used in large, often multiple party litigation.
Jack London, CACI chairman and CEO said, "We are pleased with the prospects of bringing to the private sector our technological leadership in litigation support through ALS. ALS's current business volume is about one-third of CACI's current annual volume with the Department of Justice, so the combination will make us the largest litigation support services company in the U.S. We are looking forward to a growth- oriented future together."
CACI is an international information systems and high technology services corporation. CACI is a world leader in computer-based technology systems, custom software, integration and operations, imaging and document management, simulation, and proprietary database and software products.
