CACI COMPLETES DEAL WITH AMERICAN LEGAL SYSTEMS, EXPANDS
 LITIGATION SYSTEMS CAPABILITIES
ARLINGTON, Va., July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- CACI International Inc. (NASDAQ: CACI) announced today that it had completed the acquisition of American Legal Systems Corporation (ALS), a firm specializing in computer-based litigation support services to law firms and major corporations in the U.S.
Jack London, CACI chairman/CEO said, "Having ALS as part of the CACI family now makes us the largest litigation systems and services organization in the nation. With our on-going work with the Department of Justice and the recent introduction of our Automated Imaging and Indexing System advanced product line (ADIIS/TM/), our strategy is to be the best by far in specialized technology services for our clients in the legal industry. And we are adding senior staff and high-tech capability every day toward that end. With the ALS operations center in Dallas, Texas, and field sales offices around the country, we now have direct access to new commercial markets."
Terms of the deal included a $3 million cash payment and cash earn- out program based on profits achieved over a three-year period. ALS will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of CACI, with Martin Erim, president, directing business operations. CACI expects the deal will not be dilutive to earnings and no stock was involved.
