CACI AWARDED NEW DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE CONTRACT WITH TOTAL ESTIMATED VALUE OF $48 MILLION

ARLINGTON, Va., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- CACI International Inc. (NASDAQ: CACI) announced today that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has awarded it a contract to provide nationwide litigation support services to the Executive Office for United States Attorney (EOUSA). CACI is one of three companies awarded contracts with a potential total value of $48 million over a five-year period.
Under the EOUSA contract, CACI will provide a wide range of services to support 94 United States Attorneys Offices (USAOs), including document acquisition, document processing, database creation/utilization, and pre-trial/trial support, among others. In addition to the EOUSA, CACI provides litigation support services to three other DOJ divisions: Civil; Environmental and Natural Resources (ENRD); and Antitrust.
The USAOs have been confronted with an unprecedented growth in the complexity of civil and criminal litigation, especially in affirmative civil litigation involving fraud, torts, and asset forfeitures, all of which involve complex paper trails that require specialized support. Criminal litigation has also become more complex, including large-scale investigations of major drug conspiracies and of highly complicated mail, bank, defense procurement, and financial institution fraud investigations, which are characterized by lengthy investigations and trials.
Dr. Jack London, chairman, president and CEO, stated, "The award of this new contract demonstrates that clients value our new technology solutions." London specifically noted that the company's ADIIS(TM) Automated Document Image Indexing System and hypermedia expertise will be instrumental in performing the assignments under this contract. "We believe that our understanding of the EOUSA's mission, based on 15 years of providing support to DOJ, plus our status as the nation's largest supplier of litigation support services, really made the difference." London closed by saying, "We certainly want to express our appreciation to DOJ for their continued confidence in our abilities to support their programs."
